contenance GmbH is an owner-managed, medium-sized marketing agency based in Stuttgart and Hamburg. It specializes in brand development, brand design, digital marketing, SEO and e-commerce.

As a medium-sized agency, Contenance GmbH faced considerable difficulties in recruiting the required number of programmers in Germany and retaining them in the long term. Due to more attractive working conditions, many programmers prefer large companies, which severely limits the availability of experienced developers in particular.
This situation forced contenance to rely more on external service providers and freelancers. This made it challenging to ensure a consistent and standardized way of working when implementing large-scale digital projects.
In 2019, contenance GmbH began to build up its own team in collaboration with hyretech. Through targeted training and further education of young developers, a highly motivated and knowledgeable team was formed. The investment in continuous certification and further training in key technologies such as Neos, TYPO3 and Shopware soon enabled the team to take on complex tasks independently.
Confronted with the high demands of German customers right from the start, the team in Tirana quickly adapted and learned to meet them effectively.
The development team at contenance GmbH has grown steadily and by 2024 will consist of 12 developers who are employed by hyretech under an Employer of Record (EoR) contract and work exclusively for contenance. In addition, four other people are employed as SEO-experts and as product owners.
The entire team sees itself as an integral part of contenance GmbH and has successfully managed over 100 website and web shop projects since 2020. The team has also received more than 80 specialist certifications, underlining its extensive expertise and ongoing commitment to high quality standards.
